Digital contract of carriage

By booking a flight with VanGuard Atlantic Airlines, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Ticket validity

Tickets are valid for one year from the date of issue. Unused tickets may be refunded or used for future travel.

2. Passenger responsibility

Passengers must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before international departure and 2 hours before domestic departure. Missed flights are non-refundable.

3. Baggage liability

VanGuard Atlantic is liable for baggage loss up to $3,800 (international) or $2,800 (domestic) per passenger. Valuable items should be carried on board.

4. Passenger conduct

Passengers must comply with all safety regulations and crew instructions. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the flight without refund.

5. Refund policy

Full refunds are available within 24 hours of booking. After 24 hours, refunds are subject to cancellation fees. See passenger rights for details.

6. Liability limitations

VanGuard Atlantic is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or consequential damages arising from flight delays, cancellations, or other disruptions.

7. Dispute resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with U.S. law. Passengers retain the right to file complaints with the DOT.

Public charter requirements

VanGuard Atlantic may offer public charter flights. The following disclosures apply to all charter flights:

Pricing disclosure

All charter prices include taxes, fees, and surcharges. Prices are binding once confirmed.

Passenger protections

Charter passengers receive the same protections as scheduled service passengers, including baggage liability, passenger rights, and refund policies.

Cancellation policy

Charter flights may be cancelled if minimum passenger requirements are not met. Full refunds will be issued within 14 days of cancellation.

Insurance

VanGuard Atlantic maintains comprehensive liability insurance covering all passengers and third parties.

Regulatory compliance

VanGuard Atlantic Airlines complies with all applicable federal aviation regulations:

  • 14 CFR Part 121 (Domestic, Flag, and Supplemental Air Carriers)
  • 14 CFR Part 259 (Airline Service Standards)
  • 14 CFR Part 380 (Public Charter Flights)
  • DOT Passenger Rights regulations (49 CFR Part 259)
  • Air Carrier Access Act (49 U.S.C. ยง 41705)
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards

Regulatory oversight: VanGuard Atlantic is subject to inspection and enforcement by the FAA, DOT, and other federal agencies.
